Don’t Wait. Hustle!

“All good things come to those who wait,” is an age-old adage people often hear. However, this quote is completely misleading and inaccurately used, because it is unfinished. The full quote reads: “Good things come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle.” And I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but usually, only those who hustle, tend to take all of those “good things”. 

Many of us have been misled by this notion that being patient is enough, but it isn’t. Opportunities are everywhere, and the fruits of these opportunities are rarely taken by patient people. They are taken by those who will pounce at every venture they can possibly see. Those who merely wait, get only what is left. So next time you see an opportunity to grow and better yourself in some way, don’t patiently wait! Capitalize!
